We are a small shop specialized on these time tested and easy to maintain MK4s.
If you are reading this add, probably you know what are the chances nowadays finding an ALH golf with this mileage...
New timing belt and water pump kit.
New premium brakes all around.
New 100% synthetic Motul oil and filter.
New Bilstein rear shocks and mounts.
New filters - air filter, cabin filter and fuel filter.
New windshield. New wipers.
New radiator etc etc
No rust. New left fender (original fender was a bit rusted in usual areas). It drives and pulls great. Clutch is strong. Transmission shifts without problems.
Ac works (both radiator fans too), cruise control and heated seats.
As with any 20 years car it is not perfect but I will drive it anywhere in its present condition. (It is a good feeling knowing you can drive it 1000km without fuel stops - my personal best is 3.78L/100km on a recent Boston trip - I do have the 5th gear conversion which I recommend If you have or planning to get an ALH 5spd!
